Dragon WiFi offers complete Internet services for both residential and commercial clients. Our expertise in supplying superfast broadband in Wales extends to rural broadband services, with a flexible range of options to suit all types of requirements and budgets.
Our rural broadband offerings can match, and often surpass urban broadband speeds and we have the packages and expertise to meet any capacity requirements. We work with domestic clients and commercial enterprises, as well as with community projects to help increase broadband availability within rural areas.
Via our Dragon masts located around Pembrokeshire, we offer residential and rural broadband services. A wireless receiver is placed on the property and linked with a cable to a dedicated router inside the building. There is no requirement for a landline to be accepted as a Dragon WiFi customer. You can obtain funding for an internet solution through the Welsh Government Grant initiative.

The Welsh Government now offer a grant scheme called Access Broadband Cymru that helps deliver the internet solution you need for your home or business. There are two funding options available:

For certain businesses, there is a requirement for more bandwidth than through ADSL but without the necessary funds for a leased line. In these cases, we can offer FTTC and FTTP, with multiple products available for you to choose from.
FTTC starts at £25 per month, with installation taking between two to four weeks depending on availability. A landline is required for FTTC but it will provide you with faster speeds and greater reliability.
For FTTP there is an installation cost of £75, with a 12-month contract providing speeds of up to 330mbps down and 50mbps up. Installation takes between 2-6 weeks. FTTP offers lightning speeds and improved performance due to a direct connection from the telephone exchange to your premises.
Installation times on leased lines are between 30 to 120 days depending on the amount of work required to be undertaken. They are a great way to significantly increase speeds and with symmetric connectivity you have the same upload and download speeds available to you, as you are not sharing it with any other customers. This can make a world of difference to businesses that require multiple file sharing processes, video conferencing and large-scale hosting duties and you have a much wider choice of bandwidth than with other Internet services.
